Taipei, Taiwan, DigiTimes – STAr Technologies, a leader in semiconductor and optical test systems, today announced the release of its Taurus TS-850x family of scalable architecture RF module developed specifically for RF/microwave test and measurement. The new RF switch family enhances the capability of Taurus TS-8000 Series switch matrix by configuring RF modules to meet industry demands in IoT and communication applications with reduce engineering cost and expedite product development.
This new switch matrix provides an expandable standard interface between RF/Microwave measurement instruments and the devices under test. The I/O port will not affect the test performance and critical signal integrity. Low loss balanced switching paths provide highly accurate test data with minimal signal distortion and loss. The matrix architecture enables TS-850x family can be used with wide bandwidth range from 6GHz to 77GHz and switch configuration. This can also be configured with low-leakage or high voltage DC switch matrix, the MS-130x modules family. Each of the TS-850x module occupied two plug-in-slots and can be mixed with other plug-in modules to meet high-density demand. STAr also supports customized RF switching solution of any configuration as specified by customers.
